2 States is a
2014 Indian romantic comedy film directed by Abhishek Varman based on the 2009
novel of the same name written by Chetan Bhagat. It is produced by Karan Johar
and Sajid Nadiadwala .The film stars Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles.The
film, released on April 18, 2014 has obtained mixed reviews from critics but
has been received well by audiences.The story starts at IIM Ahmedabad, where
Krish Malhotra is seeking after his MBA. Krish originates from a family
extremely glad for their Punjabi legacy. He meets Ananya Swaminathan, who
originates from a traditionalist Tamil Brahmin gang. Krish and Ananya get to be
companions and begin concentrating on together. Before long they start dating,
and stay together for their two years on the IIM grounds. Krish trusts in
Ananya that his genuine enthusiasm is composing, which he needs to seek after a
vocation in.
